A great season came to an end recently with the team finishing top of the NDSL U7C League, with just one defeat all season. This was a great achievement by all the players, who are looking forward to entering the DDSL League next season at the same age group. On hand to present the team with a cup to recognise their achievement was Gavin Whelan of Drogheda United. There won’t be much of a break for the team in the near future as they will continue to train every Tuesday with Jason and John, and also every Friday at the Academy with Willie and the lads. No doubt there will be plenty of friendly matches played through the summer to prepare for next season. A big thank you must go to Jason and John for their commitment through the year, after all it was their first season as coaches and they have done a fantastic job so far.
